Adding the app
You need a Mavio account and a Zoom account with Team Chat.1
Connect Zoom Team Chat
In Mavio, open Integrations → Zoom Team Chat and click Connect. Zoom opens in your browser.
2
Allow Mavio
Sign in to Zoom if asked, review what Mavio can do, and click Allow. You return to Mavio, and Zoom Team Chat shows Connected.
3
Choose a channel
Open the Skills tab and pick the Channel for linked skills. Outputs of the skills you link post there.
Mavio cannot read the messages in your channels, and it posts nothing you have not chosen to send.
Usage
Post a meeting’s notes yourself
1
Open the meeting
Open a meeting in Mavio and click the integrations button at the top of the page. The Send to menu opens.
2
Choose Zoom Team Chat
Pick the skill output to send, such as the summary, and the channel. The channel for linked skills is chosen for you; pick another if you like.
3
Post it
Click Post to Zoom Team Chat. The message appears in the channel under your name.
Post skill outputs automatically
On the Skills tab of Zoom Team Chat, link the skills whose output you want in Zoom and turn on Send automatically for each. Each time one of those skills runs on a meeting, its output is posted to the channel for linked skills. If no channel is chosen for linked skills, nothing is posted automatically. Choose one on the Skills tab.
Removing the app
You can remove the app from either side.- From Mavio: open Integrations → Zoom Team Chat and click Disconnect. Mavio revokes its access at Zoom and deletes your Zoom tokens.
- From Zoom: sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace, open Manage → Added Apps, find Mavio and click Remove. Zoom tells Mavio, and Mavio deletes your Zoom connection.
What happens after removal
- Mavio can no longer post to Zoom Team Chat, and nothing is sent automatically. Skills you linked stay linked in Mavio but post nothing until you connect again.
- Messages Mavio already posted stay in Zoom Team Chat. Delete them in Zoom if you no longer want them.
- Your meetings, notes and skills in Mavio are not affected.
How your data is handled after removal
When you remove the app from Zoom, Mavio deletes everything it stored about your Zoom account: the access and refresh tokens, your Zoom user and account IDs, and the channel chosen for linked skills. When you disconnect in Mavio, Mavio revokes its tokens at Zoom and deletes them. Mavio keeps no copy of your Zoom Team Chat messages. See the Privacy Policy for how Mavio handles your data and how to exercise your rights.Troubleshooting
