iOS-specific features

Android-specific features
- Quick Settings tile — start recording from the notification shade without opening the app
- Persistent notification — always-visible recording indicator with pause and stop controls
- Auto-backup — optionally back up recordings to Google Drive in addition to Mavio cloud
The mobile app uses your device’s cellular data or Wi-Fi to upload recordings for cloud processing. A 30-minute meeting recording is approximately 15 MB. Enable Wi-Fi only uploads in settings if you want to conserve mobile data.
Known limitations
- The mobile app records through the device microphone only. It cannot capture system audio or join virtual meetings as a bot. Use the desktop app or browser extension for virtual meeting recording.
- Speaker identification accuracy is lower for in-person recordings compared to virtual meetings, especially with more than 4 speakers.
