# Referral Program

> Earn bonus AI credits and extended features by referring friends and colleagues to Mavio.

Invite others to Mavio and both you and your referral earn rewards. The more people you refer, the more credits you earn. The referral program is available to all Mavio users regardless of plan tier.

## How it works

    Go to **Settings > Referral Program** to find your unique referral link and sharing options. Your link looks like:

  <Step title="Share with friends and colleagues">
    Send your link via email, Slack, social media, or anywhere. When someone signs up using your link, they are tracked as your referral.

  <Step title="Referral signs up and activates">
    When your referral creates a Mavio account and completes their first meeting, the referral is activated.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Both earn rewards">
    Once the referral is activated, both you and the new user receive bonus credits automatically.

## Rewards

### Paid plan bonus

If your referral upgrades to a paid plan within 30 days, you receive additional rewards:

| **Enterprise**       | 200 bonus credits |

<Tip>
  Bonus credits from referrals are added to your account and follow the same expiry rules as regular credits. On Enterprise plans with rollover, referral credits also roll over.

## Tracking referrals

Visit **Settings > Referral Program** to see:

* **Total referrals** -- how many people signed up with your link
* **Pending** -- signed up but have not completed their first meeting
* **Completed** -- completed first meeting (you earned credits)
* **Upgraded** -- upgraded to a paid plan (you earned bonus credits)
* **Total credits earned** -- lifetime credits from referrals

## Sharing your referral link

### Custom messaging

Personalize your outreach. The referral link works regardless of how it is shared. As long as the recipient uses your URL to sign up, the referral is tracked.

  Add your referral link to your email signature for passive referrals. Many users earn 100+ credits per month this way.

## Referral rules

| Rule                  | Detail                                                                 |

| **Maximum referrals** | No limit -- refer as many people as you like                           |
| **Self-referral**     | Not permitted -- referrals must use a different email address          |
| **Existing users**    | Links only work for new Mavio accounts                                 |
| **Activation window** | Referrals must activate within 30 days of creating their account       |
| **Abuse**             | Fraudulent referrals (fake accounts, bots) result in reward revocation |

## Frequently asked questions

    No. Referral links only work for new account signups. If someone already has an account, the referral link will not be tracked.

  <Accordion title="When do I receive my bonus credits?">
    Credits are added as soon as the referral completes their first meeting. You receive an in-app notification and email when the reward is credited.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I refer people from my own team?">
    Yes, but team members who are already on your workspace do not count as referrals. Referrals must create a new Mavio account.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What if my referral cancels their account?">
    Once rewards are credited, they are not revoked if the referral later cancels. However, rewards are reversed if the referral is found to be fraudulent.
